Abstract

The article reflects on the issues concerning digital assets such as on-line accounts and the need for planning for the transfer of digital assets. It informs that estate planning allows transposition of digital assets in case of a client's death or incapacity. It is noted that estate planning involving digital assets can help prevent on-line identity theft.
