Abstract

We consider the impact of cyclic prefix (CP) length to the BER under the Gaussian channel and the Rayleigh channel with different SNRs on orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system, respectively. The BER gap between the two channels can reach 5~10 times higher at the equal CP length.
