Abstract

Performance-to-energy models and tradeoffs in Distributed Computing (Clusters, Grids, and Clouds) are discussed. Performance models are examined. Energy optimization brings better PUE values for the data centers. Better tradeoff “Performance-to-energy” can be reached under use of the advanced “green” technologies as well as in the so called Internet of Things (IoT).
