Abstract

The article discusses about the past, present and potential commercial situation of the pharmaceutical industry. In the pursuit of profit, the pharmaceutical and medical device and diagnostics industries have been successful. But the executives in the healthcare industry are realizing that current commercial practices do not have the utility to meet the challenges the industry faces. Understanding any market from a real world systems research perspective and discovering the relational positioning of a product is the optimal way to link research to market populations.
