Abstract

This paper discussing using methods from the historical Internet hacker culture in teaching XXI century students. A case study was carried out in Tallinn University in the form of action research exercise. The playful learning approach was selected to involve students of two different courses in the full cycle of developing game scenarios for an open source strategy game The Battle for Wesnoth.
