Abstract

An essay is presented on the principles for improving the integrity of clinical trial results. It explains the actions taken by several sectors of the international clinical trials enterprise to resolve the increasing crisis of public confidence in research. The principles address the primary duties of academic centers and faculty for the studies they have conducted. The authors state that the adoption of such principles will help enhance clinical research reporting.
