Abstract

Through a consideration of the ephemeral archives of queer racialized feminine subjects, this essay considers how current debates in queer theory on the relationship between sociality and the sexual are transformed by the specifics of race, gender, location, and embodiment. In the process, it asks us to face unruly sexual fantasies of violence, abjection, and servitude that likewise trouble our psyche and sexual lives. © 2011 by Duke University Press.
