Abstract

A new, generalised model of DPLL(k) grammars and DPLL(k) parsers is presented. DPLL(k) grammars and parsers can be used as an efficient tool for inference support in syntactic pattern recognition-based expert systems. The new model has been developed in order to improve both discriminative power and computational properties of recognition algorithms. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
