Abstract

A review of the approach and recent experimental results of the NA48 experiment at CERN is presented, with emphasis on the most recent measurement of the direct CP violation parameter ∈′/∈ in neutral kaon decays. Some other recent results on rare decays of neutral kaons are discussed, as well as the current and future program for rare decays and CP violation measurements with Ks and charged kaons.
