Abstract

December 2, Dr. Amy Patterson of PDA presented an overview of some of the ethical issues involving in utero cell and gene therapies. The R A C recommended the establisUment of a subcommittee to examine the ethical issues involving in utero gene therapy. Since the issue of germ Une therapy and ttansmission is closely related to the issue of in utero therapy, the subcommittee should analyze both issues and their intenelationship to each other. © 1995, Mary Ann Liebert, Inc.
