Abstract

As the Internet has been progressed into Web 2.0, software and service with concept of Social Network has sprang up rapidly and has influences on junior high school students and elementary school students. Practicing a series of courses with information and culture, this study analyzed advice network, information network, friendship network, culture network, computer network and collaboration network among students at two different ages by density, distance and degree of social network analysis. It was found that there were more interactions among elementary school students than those among junior high school students. Both of them had approximately equal chances and limits while the latter had more social supports and more rights. Regarding six networks, there was only a little difference among each group of students. It is obvious that "Friend is my life" is rooted for students and related to their relationships.
