Retinal vein occlusion (RVO) is the second most common retinal vascular disease except for diabetic retinopathy and is one of the most important causes of vision loss. The disease is classified into central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO), hemi-retinal vein occlusion (HRVO), and branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) according to the location of the occluded vessel.
