Abstract

The article offers information on a number of online resources related to librarianship as a career in the U.S. as of 2010. The website of the American Library Association (ALA) provides information on the types of jobs available for librarians, according to library assistant Ed William. The Medical Library Association provides job listings and advice in its website. Other online resources provide information on the outlook for the occupation, salaries and master's degree programs in library science.
