An airborne multispectral scanning radiometer was flown over marine stratocumulus clouds near Monterey, CA during July 2003. Radiance observed in a visible and near-infrared channel is compared to modeled radiance to estimate cloud drop effective radius and liquid water content. Results are compared to in situ measurements and to estimates derived from satellite observations.
