Abstract

Group structure, group process and group performance are examined in a field study with one hundred sales teams in the communications industry. The interrelationships between these constructs, group composition and the organizational context are tested with structural equation modelling. Results indicate strong structure-process relationships. Group process has no affect on actual sales performance only on subjectively rated performance.ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR
