Abstract

The concepts of matter, energy and information were introduced in Chap. 1 and enhanced in Chap. 2 as a search for factors relevant for a general definition of the concept of information was sought to allow one to place an epistemic distinction among them. At the level of cognition, there are definitions for the phenomena of matter and energy that allow one to place distinctions. It has been pointed out that both energy and information reside in matter and that matter constitutes the primary category of universal existence while energy and information are derived categories of existence.
