Abstract

The Sr isotope compositions of pelitic granulites and S-type granitic rocks were measured, and a whole rock isochron age from these rocks is given, with a short discussion on its implication for the evolution of the granulite-facies metamorphism and the genesis of the S-type granitic magma in the Main Zone of the Hidaka metamorphic belt. -from Authors
