Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The objectives of this review are to determine the clinical effectiveness and safety of topical interventions in the reduction of pain associated with recurrent aphthous stomatitis, a reduction in episode duration, a reduction in episode frequency and improved quality of life.
