The final chapter draws together several issues referred to throughout the book, and through these summarizes integrity. First, it examines the relationship between trust and integrity, arguing, with a focus on recovering trust after integrity violations, that trust is based on the practice of dialogue and narrative development, professional and procedural integrity and. Second, it examines three related concepts—corruption, counterfeit integrity and confusion—arguing that these are engrained in the practice of business, and noting how the practice of integrity can address these. Finally it returns to the identity of business, to consider just what can be re-presented.
