Abstract
This paper is aimed at determine the ethical rules for citizen-made journalism in a context characterized of the raising of participation in the information production by the Web users. The analysis is centered on the traditional journalism values, questioning about their applicability on the citizen journalism. At the same time is considered how it could be a higher commitment of citizens with others humanity. Finally, it is proposed to abandon a deontological strategy to adopt an ethics of motivation that shows the benefits of behaving honestly and respectfully.
