maintain electronic and paper files for exhibition projects and for the department. Ensure that all records are kept in good order Assist in communicating with external colleagues, such as designers, curators, lenders and transport agents, including sending out correspondence, providing information, checking and chasing information and dealing with queries, always ensuring that information is handled sensitively and confidentiality is maintained where necessary Draw up schedules, project lists and disseminate information to other departments Organise & attend exhibition meetings Ensure accurate documentation of exhibition loans & enter exhibition information on our collection management system (TMS) Assist with proof reading captions and credit lines for exhibition labels and catalogue update TMS as necessary Update the loan list and prepare loan correspondence Prepare labels, receipts and other relevant paperwork Organise per diems and book hotels for incoming couriers, prepare courier instructions and folders and send to lenders and transport agents. Prepare, circulate and update access lists for the installation and dismantling periods for each exhibition Assist with the installation and de-installation of exhibitions, meeting couriers, shipments and management of the exhibition spaces where required Organise sending catalogues to lenders once an exhibition has opened Assist with the design process The successful candidate will have A third level qualification in museum studies/arts administration, art history or related topic Experience working in a Museum, preferably in the exhibitions department Experience working on complex projects in a busy environment High level of computer literacy Excellent spoken and written English For further information, please contact Denise at GHL 016610911
