A three years postdoctoral research fellowship is available in a collaborative H2020 project entitled "Advanced Multimodal Photonics Laser Imaging Tool for Urothelial Diagnosis in Endoscopy (AMPLITUDE)"

This research will be undertaken in the Optoelectronics & Biomedical Photonics Group, in the Aston Institute of Photonics Technologies, Aston University, UK

This is a joint research programme capitalising on the knowledge and expertise of the 11 partners across of Europe in the laser development and biophotonics. The main target of the project is to develop a new laser sources for label-free, multi-modal microscopy and endoscopic imaging operating in the new wavelength region with multiple imaging and spectroscopic technologies, including NIR confocal reflectance microscopy, multi-photon microscopy and spontaneous Raman spectroscopy.

The successful applicant will be responsible in conducting independent research in wide range of the development of new laser prototypes and systems. The applicant will be working in collaboration with the other project partner to develop and investigate of novel lasers.

The successful applicant should have a PhD and at least 4 years research experience in laser development physics, photonics, optoelectronics or relevant fields.
