Job Description:

The 3M Oral Care Solutions Division Dental Practice Specialist will be proactive, motivated and effective in a highly competitive dental market. This individual must be able to influence dental professionals that include dentists and staff, industry opinion leaders and peers, as well as dental supply distributors.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

+ Lead, motivate and train dental professionals within an assigned territory for the purpose of creating product awareness and acceptance while generating territory sales volume growth.

+ Develop and implement strategic territory business plans utilizing CRM systems and data analytics, designed to increase market penetration, grow market share and meet overall territory sales objectives.

+ Perform independent sales duties with minimal supervision, responding effectively to challenges as they arise.

+ Work within a team environment, supporting peers within the local market as well as a variety of functional areas throughout 3M's OCSD Division.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

+ Minimum of three (3) years of field sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor degree in business or a medical/healthcare discipline is preferred

+ Three (3) or more years dental industry sales experience

+ Experience maintaining and growing a multi-million dollar territory which includes Key Accounts

+ Experience selling through distribution

+ Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

+ Presentation skills and experience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel.

Location: Long Island, NY

Sales Territory: Suffolk and Nassau Counties on Long Island in New York.

Travel: May include up to 20%

Relocation: Is not authorized
