Lead supply chain department at Takeda's manufacturing site in Singen and collaborate across organizational boundaries to integrate activities with global plans and ambitions. Inform, motivate and empower people to strive for a supply-chain driven and customer-centric-organization. Safeguarding of market supply according to customer needs and requirements


* Responsibility for end-to-end supply chain starting from customer management, along production planning, order handling to warehousing and distribution to ensure availability

* Develop people and organization in local supply chain and partially at interfaces to global functions (e.g. business partners in procurement)

* Develop, support and implement new strategies Takeda-wide and on plant level

* Representation of plant Singen in relevant teams and meetings (e.g. S&OP-meetings with internal and external customers, supply chain projects)

* Supervision over negotiations and execution of commercial contracts with CMB partners

* Monitor and influence positively supply chain KPIs (Customer Service Level, safety-stocks, inventories, purchase volume savings)

* Driving of all personnel-, budget- and capex-related activities within the supply chain department

* Representation of TSI's supply chain within the Takeda network

* Continuously enhance Takeda's attractiveness towards customers and all stakeholders

* Release of orders (raw and packaging materials, manufacturing services CMO-partners) to third parties, subject to valid internal corporate guidelines with auditing

* Compliance with J-SOX standards and GMP- and GDP-relevant parts of Takeda's quality assurance system as well as work safety and environmental requirements (in particular in warehousing and distribution)

* Leadership of approx. 70 employees with various qualifications: Supply Chain Coordinators, sourcing specialists, production planners and WH specialists and staff

*Education, Behaviours, Competencies & Skills:*

* Bachelors Degree (or higher) in engineering, economics or other relevant combination of education and experience, preferably in supply chain, material flows and logistics or equivalent

* Relevant and profound experience in the logistics / supply chain field of the pharmaceutical industry or comparable industrial sector

* Acknowledged competence in supply chain planning and implementation of new business processes

* Excellent leadership skills in order to drive, encourage and improve the collaboration with all departments across the end-to-end value chain (e.g. production, all SC-teams, quality control, quality assurance, local procurement partner)

* Outstanding project management skills and experience in change management

* Excellent knowledge of SAP and MS office applications

* Commitment, agility, leadership competence, flexibility as well as independent and team-oriented working practices, also on international level

* Willingness to face changes and creativity to help form and realise them in a goal-oriented way

* Distinct skills in communication and cooperation as well as work experience in an interdisciplinary field of responsibilities

* Committed to and a role model for Takeda-ism

* Business fluent in written and spoken German and English / Ideally German as mother-tongue
