**Basic Function:**

Responsible for evaluating the supply base in relation to support of customer service, inventory objectives and planned production/receipts. Develop and maintain supplier relationships in the best interest of the company. Negotiate supplier logistics executional agreements, measure supplier related performance outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Establish, maintain and manage Supplier Logistics Executional Agreements.

+ Maintain Supplier data; validate lead times and data integrity within appropriate planning tools.

+ Lead improvements in response capability through reduction of lead times and appropriate inventory policies.

+ Develop supplier scorecards and measure: OTIF, WALT, Quality metrics. Initiate corrective action discussions with underperforming suppliers.

+ Liaise with Procurement and other functional partners ensure that all supplier data is current and accurate.

+ Responsible for drafting changes to existing processes ensuring that the changes are reviewed, approved, tested and communicated as required.

+ Identify opportunities to achieve greater cost effectiveness across the supply base.

+ Identify high risk areas within the supply chain, propose solutions and lead implementation of aligned mitigation plans.

+ Develop RCCP analysis for the supply base to identify constraints and mitigation strategies.

+ Actively participate in supplier reviews providing critical data for supplier performance evaluations.

+ Cultivate and manage effective communications and working relationships with vendors and suppliers.

**Requirements:**

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management. Logistics or Operations Research. APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) highly desirable.

+ 5 years of experience in Material Requirements Planning, procurement, inventory management or other supply chain management function.

+ Manufacturing experience highly desirable.

+ Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, procurement, demand, and replenishment processes. Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management, EOQ methodology, and supply chain best practices.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

+ Experience with MS Office suite especially Excel, Access and Power Point.

+ Strong organizational skills; ability to evaluate data, prioritize, determine appropriate course of action, and gain acceptance of recommendations.

+ Ability to work with functional groups to effectively and professionally achieve results.
