As a Director, Strategic Partnerships working on the Managed Markets team, you will be empowered to lead the design and execution of a Corporate Strategic Partnership with Payer Customers and integrate the strategy within Takeda. A typical day will include:


* TheDirector, Strategic Partnershipsis responsible for leading the design and execution of a corporate Strategic Partnership with payer customers.

* Will develop and facilitate an integrated strategy and organizational design across the organization; leading cross functional efforts with Brand Leads, Medical and HEOR.

* Responsible for measuring and enhancing Takeda's Partner For Access strategic initiative by developing innovative concepts to secure access for Takeda products, including strengthening an executive exchange program.

* Will enhance the account directors strategic business plans by working collaboratively with other functions.

* Capture relevant payer and IDN insights, identify data and policy gaps and propose solutions; develop compelling value propositions and pricing and contracting strategies and ensure account teams are equipped with the right tools to execute Value Based Contracting (VBC) opportunities.


* Create a robust strategic partnership strategy and structure for TPUSA products through collaborative internal and external partnerships.

* Create structure and develop an implementation plan for VBC and other innovative partnership concepts that support and include support functions as required.

* Develop payer and IDN account strategy segmentation and work with account team so they can use the insights in their role.

* Assess and find solutions to close capability gaps with internal support functions to execute VBC (including measurement platforms) and other innovative partnerships initiatives.

* Spearhead the development of executable concepts in partnership with HEOR and Brand Teams.

* Design advisory boards with internal and external customers to solicit industry insights and uses those insights to develop strategic plans to help the Managed Markets (MM) function stay ahead of industry trends.

* Ensures the required payer and IDN insights, research and scientific advice is obtained to inform clinical development programs and existing product plans.

* For priority products develop VBC concepts that illustrate the payer and IDN evidence needs and ensure this is integrated into the value proposition evidence plans.


* Bachelor's Degree required, advanced business degree preferred.

* 10 years of life science experience with a combination of development, payer and commercial experience within managed markets and/or account management.

* Comprehensive knowledge of managed markets channels.

* Proven experience in building and executing strategic plans for the highest levels of leadership and experience leading cross functional teams, including Sr. Leadership* *

* Ability to drive to or fly to various meetings or client sites, including overnight trips. Some international travel may be required.
