Within Leicester Castle Business School, we are looking to appoint enthusiastic, collaborative, high performing academics to join the Department of Politics, People and Place. PPP brings together an inter-disciplinary group of scholars working in the areas of Politics, International Relations, Human Resource Management, Public Management and Creative Industries. All staff are invited to play an active role in the work and development of the POWI research group within the Department. POWI aims to contribute to debates on contemporary work and employment, through research of recognised international quality. Our research aims to be critical and theoretically well informed focusing on how managers, workers, trade unions and policy makers interpret and attempt to shape the nature and regulation of work, employment and organisations.
You will lead, develop, manage, teach and assess learning provision and will engage with a range of students, including corporate clients. You will be expected to support all aspects of the student learning journey including securing placements, organising #DMU global experiences, personal tutoring, employability initiatives and meeting Universal Design for Learning (UDL) requirements.
Ideal Candidate We are currently seeking applicants who can design and deliver modules in a creative and innovative way which ensures a positive student learning experience. Delivery will be across a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, distance and blended distance learning programmes. We are particularly interested in you if you have specialist expertise in HRM, Organisational Behaviour and/or Employment Law.
