We are looking to recruit a pool of Visiting Lecturers to be available to provide assistance on our popular Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.

Building on continuous success in student growth and in sustained advancement of research activities, the school has embarked on a programme of extensive expansion funded by substantial long-term investments. The School is looking to appoint Visiting Lecturers in Computing, Computer Networks and Information Technology for the 2019/2020 academic year.

The successful candidates should have extensive teaching experience in Computer Science, Networking and Information Technology degrees in higher education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Candidates must upload a current CV and a covering letter. It is essential that applicants address the following in their cover letter:

  • Teaching or relevant industrial experience

In applying for this vacancy you will be submitting your details to a Visiting Lecturer recruitment pool. Please note that Visiting Lecturer posts are part time, fixed term contracts for which a specific amount of hours work will be agreed between you and the Faculty. Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role.

As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss in more detail. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty.

Recruitment pools will be closed at the end of September each year, at which point you will be contacted with an invite to resubmit your details for the following year's recruitment pool if you would still like to be considered. If you do not reply your stored details will be destroyed in line with our Data Protection Policy
