Head of Healthcare Compliance UK, Ireland and Nordics with international pharmaceutical company based M4 Corridor. ABPI, IPHA and EFPIA Code experience essential.

BACKGROUND

New position, exclusively available through AXESS Ltd

Based at the UK and Ireland affiliate office along the M4 Corridor.

Reporting line into Above Country.

PRIMARY DUTIES

AXESS has been retained on an exclusive basis by this international pharmaceutical company who requires a subject matter expert in the ABPI, IPHA and EFPIA Codes of Practice to lead their Healthcare Compliance programme.

In this high profile role, you will provide leadership and expertise to the business while instilling a culture of ownership and adherence across the company. This will include formulating and implementing compliance policies and SOPs. You will develop and run compliance training for the company providing Code and policy updates as required.

You will work closely with the company's European Compliance teams and Global HQ to share best practice.

As this is a new position for the company, they do require previous experience in a similar role. Someone with a positive solutions oriented approach is essential.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

To be considered for this position you will require:

- Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a similar level position, with above country experience desirable.
- Expertise and extensive knowledge of the ABPI, IPHA and EFPIA Codes of Practice.
- Strong understanding & network of pharmaceutical sector and compliance contacts
- Current working knowledge of healthcare policies, priorities and organisational structures across the UK & Ireland. Nordics experience a bonus
- Previous experience dealing with the PMCPA

You will need to provide examples of:

- Leading a change in compliance culture of a pharmaceutical organisation.
- Creating compliance policies and processes including developing and maintaining SOPs, ensuring employee adherence.
- Implementing and delivering Compliance training across the company.
- Experience as a strong business partner to cross functional teams.
- Building and maintaining business relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills including presenting experience.
- Ability to identify potential risks to the business and provide

- Educated to degree level, or equivalent, ideally in a scientific subject
