Manager, U.S. Marketing - Metabolics

The Manager, US Marketing - Metabolics position is part of the US Commercial Operations MBA Rotational Program. During this initial 12 month assignment, you will manage and support the commercial activities of the Metabolics Marketing team, including both branded and disease state campaigns, out of our new HQ in Boston, MA.

Principle Responsibilities

+ Manage the continued development and deployment of the HCP disease and branded campaigns for HPP and LAL-D

+ Support the planning and execution of U.S. congresses, including the management of external vendors and agencies

+ Develop, implement and report on key metrics related to performance of disease campaigns, speaker programs and congresses

+ Manage digital assets and develop tactics to drive online engagement

+ Support the Speaker faculty program and speaker faculty lead in the management and execution of speaker programs for both disease state and branded programs

+ Support the phase I and phase II field training in collaboration with Training, Sales and Marketing

+ Collaborate with the market access and diagnostic specialists to support material development to ensure alignment to Brand Strategy

+ Collaborate closely with global marketing to ensure alignment to Brand Strategy and share best practices

+ Partner with the Market Research team to develop and implement research projects as needed

+ Provide recommendations based upon market research to drive material development and refinements in strategic approach

+ Manage budgets and resources under areas of responsibility

+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners

Qualifications

+ Completed Bachelor's degree and a current MBA candidate, scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2018

+ Proven ability to coordinate and implement multiple projects simultaneously

+ Proven teamwork and collaboration skills

+ Proven ability to work in a matrix environment

+ Persuasive written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to manage and deliver projects on time and within budget

+ Ability to quickly understand and communicate clinical data/publications to support business objectives

+ Ability to solve problems that include multiple decision makers and carry several options for solutions

+ Compliance with Alexion internal processes regarding legal, regulatory, and financial policies and procedures

+ Completion of training on disease, product and compliance in line with Alexion standards

+ Authorization to work in the U.S.
