**Key accountabilities:**

+ Coordinates and oversees required project resources; people, budget, etc.

+ Applies stage-gated Capital Value Process (CVP), Engineered Modifications and Small Projects Policy (EMSP), and R&M Project Common Process (Pcp) on USPL projects.

+ Develops and implements effective project HSSE plans.

+ Ensures compliance with BP ETP's, USPL STP's, industry standards, and OMS.

+ Develops budgets, schedules, and project execution strategies.

+ Evaluates and manages project risk and contingency plans in addition to process safety related risk management.

+ Develops and implements quality management plan for the project.

+ Leads development and implementation of contracting, purchasing, and construction strategies.

+ Manages relationships with contractors, suppliers, internal and external stakeholders.

+ Manages safety, cost, schedule, operability, and maintenance objectives for the projects.

+ •Maintains alignment of project teams with business objectives; Gate Keeper and Stakeholder reviews.

+ Implement best practices into project execution plans.

+ Captures lessons learned, communicates lessons to other project teams and implements lessons learned in future project planning.

+ Mentors Project Managers and coaches Project Engineers.

+ When not executing or developing Major Projects - deliver small capital and expense projects and inspection activities. One Team behavior allows PMs to support integrity activities when Inspection Team is overloaded.

**Essential Education:**


+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering


+ Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

US Pipelines and Logistics (USPL's) strategy is to create integrated logistics value for BP by maintaining high pipeline, terminal and transportation availability, storage flexibility for trading. It is a pipeline transportation company that owns and operates liquid pipelines and terminal facilities throughout the United States. Employing more than 1200 employees, USPL safely transports millions of barrels per day of oil, refined products, natural gas liquids, carbon dioxide and chemicals throughout the US. The Terminal facilities are light-oil terminals, most of which produce custom blends of gasoline. Additionally, USPL interacts with a number of BP segments including Upstream, Integrated Supply & Trading, and Downstream as well as third party shippers. USPL is also a partner in several joint ventures. In support of these interactions, we maintain a strong business relationship with internal and external customers.

**Essential experience and job requirements:**

+ 10 years engineering /technical experience

+ 10 years major project management

+ 10 years contractor management experience

+ 5 years building new pipelines, new pump or compressor stations, tanks and other pipeline assets
