revered across the globe. Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey. WHAT TO EXPECT Working in an open, collaborative manner as a Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in the implementation of our model-based control strategies. This will include developing and demonstrating new concepts and systems through desktop simulations and concept vehicles; and updating and improving existing systems and architectures, as required.  You'll also take the lead with requirements analysis and decomposition; control strategy design; and the development and execution of validation processes and associated simulations. While you'll be comfortable working across a range of technologies, you'll have a real enthusiasm, curiosity and aptitude for motion control and all its facets. Harnessing this, you'll enjoy working alongside a team of system and software engineers to deliver concept and production systems in a timely manner, according to vehicle programme timing and delivery milestones. WHAT YOU'LL NEED With a background in machine learning and its application in motion control technologies, you'll be experienced in virtual, vehicle and component testing; safety critical systems and software; and the management of offshore software development teams for coding and integration tasks. It would be preferred if you also had automotive controls experience - however, strong candidates with relevant control system experience from a related industry would also be considered. On top of this, you'll need a strong understanding of quality and robustness techniques and standards; virtual validation tools and techniques (such as IPG CarMaker); and software engineering principles (such as model-based software development). You'll have good knowledge of rapid control prototyping tools (dSpace Autobox, or similar) and requirements and change management tools and processes. You'll also have an understanding of automotive networking, diagnostics and fault handling techniques, too. Knowledge of C++, Python, MISRA compilers, automotive SPICE and Linux would be beneficial. A full driver's license would also be advantageous. BENEFITS Bring all this to the home of premium innovation where you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team.
