Vacancies currently exist for both full-time and part-time Social Care Worker roles based in residential homes in South Dublin The ideal candidates must: ·          Have at least two years experience working in the area of intellectual disability and supporting service users who have significant complex needs. ·          Have experience working as part of a multi disciplinary team ·          Have experience in behaviours that challenge. ·          Possess excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and organisational skills. ·          Possess the ability to build and sustain strong, professional and respectful relationships with service users. ·          Have a full clean driver licence and be willing to drive the unit bus. The approved qualification for the Social Care Worker positions are one or more of the following -qualifications as outlined in the Health and Social Care Professionals Act 2005 QQI Level 7 Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies (Disability)  - Open Training College; Level 7 award in Social Care/Studies delivered by an Institute of Technology, DIT or National University of Ireland; A qualification received outside the State recognised by NARIC as equivalent to the Irish Level 7 award.
