NOV is seeking Field Service Technicians for our Field Service Technician Enablement Program in Willis, Texas. Upon completion of 15-week training program, the trainee will be assigned to a Field Service Technician position within the United States.

We are a leader in the oil and gas industry providing our customers with equipment that will be utilized to monitor existing systems on oil and gas drilling rigs.

Responsibilities

+ Successfully complete the FST Enablement Program

+ Travel to customer sites to install, commission, test, calibrate, and train customers on the safe and proper operation of NOV products

+ Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems

+ Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system

+ Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments

+ Maintain billing, inventory and paperwork

+ Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner

+ Comply with all NOV Company and HSE procedures and policies

+ Perform other work related tasks as assigned by management

+ AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 2 years' experience preferred

+ Relocate to Houston to complete the 15-week Field Service Technician Enablement Program (classroom and hands on training).

+ After completion of Field Service Technician Enablement Program must be willing to relocate within United States to fill open Field Service Technician position.

+ Good interpersonal skills

+ Experience using basic hand tools

+ Knowledge of wireless networks preferred

+ Good verbal and written communication skills

+ Willingness to be on call

+ Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems/components preferred

+ Knowledge of basic electricity and troubleshooting, including multimeter usage preferred
