Under the direction of a supervisor, performs a wide variety of tasks and operations in GMP, aseptic and controlled environments that are required to support and execute production. This includes performing cleaning of equipment and facilities, operating washing and sterilization equipment, operating equipment, staging and loading components and bulks, operating inspection equipment, operating nitrogen tunnels for freezing, and completing associated batch record and logbook documentation. Performs cleaning, disinfection process changeovers and housekeeping requirements as assigned in the areas and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

All operations will be carried out in compliance with cGMP's ( Current Good Manufacturing Practices), specific Manufacturing Process Descriptions, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure that the quality of our products and services if the highest level.


  • Maintains good housekeeping/organization and observes proper safety procedures.
  • Comply with cGMPs and area SOPs
  • Performs line/process changeover procedures as well as general cleaning (weekly and quarterly) and disinfecting duties in the work areas.
  • Proper cleaning and shipment of material to off-site vendor for refurbishment.
  • Mopping, dusting, polishing, detailing, spraying, wiping and vacuuming areas such as floors, ceilings, walls, machinery, other surfaces, windows, and laminar flow hood curtains.
  • Removal of trash from departmental areas by emptying wastebaskets, transportation of waste materials to designated pick-up areas, proper tagging of waste.
  • Replacements of lights and light covers
  • Prepares, removes, and properly labels necessary cleaning solutions and cleaning equipment
  • Completes cleaning related logbooks and documentation
  • Performs disinfection of items entering the aseptic core, or as required in other areas.
  • Completes all required log sheets, batch records, training rosters and other documentation as required.
  • Responsible for the operating equipment associated with, but not limited to: washing, autoclaving, loading, filling, tray loading, capping and inspecting
  • Runs equipment for various size containers, stoppers, caps and other packaging components as required. Makes minor adjustments to equipment to clear jams as necessary, and communicates issues or problems to technicians or supervisors.
  • Understanding reliability concepts and how they relate to proper preventative maintenance strategies/tasks.
  • Monitors equipment, components, and flow of materials to ensure quality
  • Performs sampling as required.
  • Interfaces with departmental computer systems as necessary, SAP transactions (timely, accurate)
  • Makes recommendations regarding equipment, supplies, repairs needed process and safety concerns to supervision.
  • Assists in the instruction and training of new operators in the proper performance of their duties per SOPs and batch records.
  • Attends training sessions, as required, to maintain skills/knowledge of operations.
  • Adheres to Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Performs aseptic techniques were required.
  • Performs miscellaneous work requiring no special training to assist in production operation, including movement of equipment and supplies, running errands, etc.


Education Minimum Requirement:

High School Diploma or equivalent
