The Gas Measurement Specialist receives, edits, and analyzes electronic measurement data from field RTUs. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Working in MPS, TME and CMS, ensures that there is a volume for every meter for every day.

* Analyzes the data for validity and makes appropriate edits and corrections.

* When data is not available or correct, work with SCADA and the Field to correct the issues and resume acquisition of Measurement data.

* Coordinate with Gas Control and Decision Support to develop verifying and reporting tools.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

* College degree in Business or Technical field is preferred.

* Must have experience in Natural Gas Measurement/Volume Accounting.

* Must have excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders and the Field.

* Must be computer literate to work in the Measurement systems and develop reports.

* Must have an aptitude for analyzing data and recognizing abnormal conditions.

* Proficient in excel to be able to use and manipulate data for analysis and research.

* Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
