Lecturer in Psychology (1032)

The department of Psychology is a vibrant, research active team of professionals with expertise covering a diverse range of Psychological studies. We are an inclusive Department encouraging and involving our students participation in research to develop highly skilled, knowledgeable and employment ready graduates.

There is a clear enthusiasm for developing programmes that offer students meaningful engagement with psychological science. Our course programmes are approved and accredited by the British Psychological Society underpinned by a strong organisational structure and inclusive ethos, which greatly enhances the student experience and is reflected in our exceptional NSS results and the large numbers of applications that we receive year on year.

Applications are invited for a Lecturer in Psychology to work within the Department of Psychology, which is part of the Faculty of Health, Psychology and Social Care. The successful candidate will be required to teach within the British Psychological Society (BPS) core topic areas at undergraduate level and provide input to our postgraduate Psychology programmes.

Applicants should have eligibility for Chartered Membership with the BPS and will have a PhD in a psychology related area. Active engagement with research and evidence of publications, etc are essential requirements for successful applicants to this post.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.
