An MRes features a larger research component and is ideal for students interested in continuing onto a research career. An MSc degree contains a smaller research component alongside taught modules, and is suitable for students interested in a broader range of careers.

MSc in Neuroscience

This MSc offers a wide choice of modules and research projects in contemporary topics including neurodegeneration, sensory circuits, addictive behaviour and consciousness. The course supports conversion to neuroscience from related disciplines. The six-month practical research project helps prepare students for PhD study, and develops transferable professional skills such as critical thinking and science communication.
