We are seeking an enthusiastic, team oriented Quality Systems Professional to join a dynamic team supporting various nuclear and radiological facilities\. On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Lead team efforts to establish and monitor quality program deployment initiatives
+ Provide creative solutions to complex problems by developing quality related plans and strategies
+ Assess processes and systems, conduct risk analysis, and conduct causal analyses
+ Translate requirements, including contractual, regulatory, customer and external industry benchmark/certification, into quality management system related processes, tools, and practices
+ Design and deploy processes and tools to meet customer requirements

Required:

+ Bachelor's degree plus five or more years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
+ ASME NQA\-1 Qualified Auditor with at least five years of experience
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoE Q Security Clearance

Desired:

+ Experience applying Quality Tools \(e\.g\., RCA, Statistics, Lean methodology, Six Sigma\)
+ Knowledge of 10CFR830 A, Applicable DOE orders \(e\.g\., 414\.1D, 422\.1, 232\.2A, 426\.2, 433\.1B, etc\.\), ANSI/ANS 15\.8, NQA\-1\-2015, ISO 9001
+ Experience interacting with the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board and the Sandia Field Office
+ Strong interpersonal, team facilitation, communication, training, coaching, mentoring and presentation skills

Department Description:

Group 1380, Nuclear Facility Operations and Applied Nuclear Technologies \(Technical Area \- V\), operates four unrivaled nuclear facilities and conducts radiation effects research and analysis supporting the mission of Sandia National Laboratories \(SNL\) and the nation's interest\. The operation of the Annular Core Research Reactor \(ACRR\), the Sandia Pulsed Reactor\-Critical Experiments \(SPR\-CX\), the Gamma Irradiation Facility \(GIF\) and the Auxiliary Hot Cell Facility \(AHCF\), as well as the Radiation Metrology Lab \(RML\) play a vital role in SNL's strategic mission\.

The Nuclear Quality and Requirements Department \(1382\) is responsible for leading the effective implementation of the elements of 10CFR830 Nuclear Safety Subpart A, Quality Assurance criteria across TA\-V programs, policies, processes and procedures\. The department also manages the TA\-V Training, Requirements, Assurance, and Information Management programs for TA\-V Nuclear Facility Operations\.

Security Clearance:

Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance\.
