**Position Description:**

+ Responsible for the coordination of all Radiation Protection / Chemistry accredited training activities/programs by providing radiation protection / chemistry oversight/assessments and technical guidance

+ Coordinate with Radiation Protection / Chemistry to implement and maintain accredited training programs to meet regulatory requirements

+ Develops training materials and conducts training

+ Assist adjunct instructors in the development of lesson material

+ Monitor TSD and accreditation renewal

+ Manage training intranet and VISION database

+ Assist line management in oversight of OJT/OJE activities for qualifications

+ Perform self -assessments, benchmarking, and observations to identify strengths and weaknesses

+ Partner with Radiation Protection / Chemistry line management to manage, govern and monitor the training programs

+ Assist in providing Access Training for Site

+ Support refueling outages as assigned

**Education and Qualifications:**

**Required** **:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent (ANSI/ANS 3.1-1981)

+ 5 years' experience in Radiation Protection / Chemistry and/or training at a commercial nuclear power plant, naval nuclear propulsion plant or another similar industry and have knowledge commensurate with the position being sought (RP or Chemistry)

+ Good oral and written communication skills

+ Must meet Nuclear's requirements for unescorted plant access

**Desired:**

+ BS Degree

+ Prior classroom experience
