About the Machining Group The Machining Group is part of the AMRC with Boeing and focuses on the research, development and application of state of the art machining technologies (www.amrc.co.uk/capabilities/machining). The group has an excellent track record of developing technology and integrating it into a shop floor environment to demonstrate financial benefit to partners. This ability to translate technological advances into bottom line savings has led to a large growth in demand from especially its aerospace partners and a growing need for skilled engineers with an interest in manufacturing.
