Raytheon Advanced Mission Systems, Senior Program Manager Raytheon's Advanced Concepts and Technology (ACT) mission area is seeking a senior program manager for its Advanced Mission Systems (AMS) program area. The senior program manager will be responsible for executing internal programs and external contracts and creating and pursuing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, and envision and realize solutions for those needs. This position will be working in a fast-paced and new product area! The primary focus will be a next-generation tactical Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) as well as manned-unmanned teaming utilizing autonomous platforms. The senior program manager will manage multiple classified and unclassified research and development study contracts from $1M to $15M in size, working with team of highly capable science and engineering staff, as well as functional support team members, to execute strategically important advanced technology development and system demonstration programs. The senior program manager will work across all functional organizations to staff their programs and ensure the timely delivery of products and services in accordance with contract requirements and Raytheon policies and procedures. They will establish milestones and manage adherence to program plans, implement control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identify potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken, and ensure contractual and financial commitments are met. The senior program manager will work closely with AMS and ACT leadership to contribute to strategy and growth plans, and lead capture activities to achieve growth goals. This requires frequent customer and internal management interactions to ensure good communication and relationships. The senior program manager will communicate with the AMS customer base, and will be able to influence other potential customers as well as internal product line leaders to support growth. The senior program manager will also lead collaboration across the Raytheon to foster customer relationships, develop new business opportunities, and execute internal programs and external contracts. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in DoD research and development, including program management Experience successfully implementing and transitioning to development operations Model Based Engineering processes to reduce software design and test costs via auto-generated software code Experience successfully managing contract research and development programs building and demonstrating significant hardware and/or software systems, for the DoD Demonstrated experience managing program staffing, assignments and resources including Earned Value Management Experience managing classified programs Experience leading new business capture activities winning new business in a competitive environment Understanding of system architecture engineering Demonstrated ability to learn and become competent in new technologies Active DoD Secret security clearance Desired Qualifications: Masters or PhD degree in science or engineering or MBA degree Active DoD Top Secret security clearance Active SCI and NACLC clearances Battle management and command and control experience Artificial intelligence and machine learning experience Required Education: Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or related technical field This position requires a U.S. person or the ability to obtain an Export Authorization from the appropriate government agency for non-U.S. persons U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment. 114537
