The School of Engineering seeks to appoint a Research Associate to join a project funded by the EU CleanSky2 programme to work on monitoring of damage using an integrated and diverse set of sensors in full-scale tests in the aerospace industry. You will join a research team led by Professor Eann Patterson and you will work closely with a small group of companies to develop new technology. You should have a degree in engineering or a physical science that provides you with an understanding of applied mechanics, and have experience of conducting mechanical testing and using instrumentation to acquire measurements. The post is available until 31 December 2020.
