Job Description

Our Licensed Dental Assistants provide chair-side and removed assistance to dental staff in any services rendered to patients. This includes assisting with chair-side, laboratory and x-ray procedures, as well as assigned duties. They will also perform delegated dental functions under the direction of a licensed dentist in the delivery of care for all assigned patient populations, in accordance with all policy, procedure and practice guidelines. In addition, they support dentists in the delivery of patient care services, preparing examining areas and patients for examination by physician, recording patient's medical history and other relevant data., assisting dentists with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures, and scheduling or performing clinics procedures as dentist directs,.

Duties include:‚Äč

+ Prepares patient, arranges instruments and set-ups, and prepares dental materials for

+ treatment/procedure.

+ Performs patient care activities relevant to the clinic as permitted by the Dental Practices Act.

+ . Provides Chair-side Assistant to Dental Staff

+ Communicates effectively with patients and other members of the healthcare team

+ Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population served

In order to qualify for this role, you must possess:

+ Graduation from an accredited dental assistant course, including current certification and registration as a dental assistant.

+ 1+ years of experience a dental office or clinic

+ Experience using EagleSoft clinic management software.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Experience in a hospital based dental office or clinic for one or more years.

+ Bilingual with knowledge of primary patient languages.

+ Advanced technical skills in job role.
