**Avionics Engineer**

Bell has an opening for an Avionics Engineer, focusing on avionics, readiness,long term planning, logistics and obsolescence management\. This positionis based at Bell's Ft\. Worth, TX headquarters facility\.


+ Long term planning, prioritization, and assessment for V\-22 aircraft Avionics Roadmap

+ Collaborate with logistics, engineering and US Government to prioritize LOT buy purchases

+ Coordinate V\-22 avionics readiness activities across functions and disciplines

+ Develop and maintain effective reporting / management tools to drive understanding of the current and long\-term demand plan and impact on schedule execution by analyzing current LOT buy inventory

+ Communicate with Bell/Boeing/US Government/GOJ leadership and Bell Sub\-contractors using written, visual, and verbal channels and appropriate tactics for each situation

+ Learn and adapt to evolving circumstances, such as new US Government requirements, changing schedules, and senior leadership direction


Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor's Degree is required\.

Position Requirements:

+ Prior project management experience, including scheduling, resource forecasting, and risk management is required\.

+ Must be proficient using all aspects of MS Project, Primavera, or similar project management software\.

+ Experience with creating and executing cross\-functional and inter\-disciplinary project plans is required\.

+ Excellent interpersonal skills are required\.

+ Must be detail\-oriented\.

+ Must have excellent communication skills using a variety of channels \(written, visual, verbal, etc\.\), including creativity in using and developing communication tactics\.

+ Must be comfortable working and communicating at all levels of the organization, including executive leadership team\.

+ Must have demonstrated ability to learn quickly how teams and organizations operate, including their formal and informal processes

+ Capacity to forecast and analyze LOT buy usage trends and determine best path forward required\.

+ Must be able to understand and utilize the Boeing Line\-of\-Balance Tool\.

+ Proficiency with BEA Systems AVCOM database is required\.

+ Must be able to comprehend, analyze and execute current DMSMS requirements\.

+ Ability to travel frequently is required\.

+ Must be proficient with Boeing Case Sheet Management Database\.

PreferredCertifications, Skills and Experience:

+ Current CAC card for accessing US Government Databases

+ Existing or ability to acquire a US Government Secret Clearance

+ Proficient with the following US Government databases is a must: One Touch, Vector, Fed Mall and Haystack

+ Aerospace or related avionics industry experience is preferred\.

+ Prior military experience is preferred\.
