PhD student scholarship / Doctoral studies/ PhD studies opportunity - Deep Eutectic Solvents synthes

A scholarship for PhD student for work in a research project for three years financed by National Science Centre, Poland. The project is focused on synthesis of new types of deep eutectic solvents (DES), characterization of their physio-chemical properties and development of  new applications of DESs as an alternatives to “classic” organic solvents and absorbents.

Qualifications:

-Ability to start PhD studies in Gdansk University of Technology (Gdansk, Poland) – Start of PhD studies – October 2019.

-MSc or MSc. Eng. diploma

- experience in Chemical Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or Chemistry related science; Experience in physiochemical characteristics of new types of materials (and/or organic substances), instrumental techniques (FTIR, gas and liquid chromatography). Experience in chemical synthesis as well as previous experience with deep eutectic solvents or ionic liquids will be an advantage.
