Junios postdoc in computational biophysics
A young (less than two years from Ph.D.) and enthusiastic physicist with a strong background in statistical and computational physics is sought to fill a two-years position in computational biophysics in Prof. Piazza's group at the CNRS Center for molecular biophysics (CBM) in Orléans, France. The successful candidate will be working in collaboration with experimental biophysicists and immunologists in Marseille on an INSERM-funded project aimed at designing, synthesizing and testing novel multi-specific and multivalent molecules for cancer immunotherapy. The Orléans node is charged notably with the design of coarse-grained models to simulate with LAMMPS the binding kinetics at the interface between two cell membranes within the immune synapse to pinpoint the dynamical and structural determinants of cooperativity (avidity) afforded by the flexible, multi-domain architectures of the novel molecules.

Interested candidates are encouraged to send Prof. Piazza an email with CV,
motivation letter and names of two referees ( Francesco.Piazza@cnrs-orleans.fr ).
