Associate Lecturer in Pre-Registration Nursing (Adult/Mental Health/Child/​Learning Disability)

Qualifications

• A Nursing degree or a first degree in a discipline appropriate to the discipline being taught or equivalent professional experience
• Registered Nurse with the NMC
• Evidence of continuing professional development

Experience

• Experience of working in an industry related to the discipline being taught

Skills, knowledge & abilities

• Ability to teach at the appropriate level
• Ability to relate theory to practice
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good presentation skills
• Excellent teaching skills and/or the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage student learning
• A commitment to live and promote the university core values

Business requirements

• Actual days/hours will be described in a 'Schedule of Work'.
• Willingness and flexibilty to travel between university and partner sites
