Qualifications
- A Nursing degree or a first degree in a discipline appropriate to the discipline being taught or equivalent professional experience
- Registered Nurse with the NMC
- Evidence of continuing professional development
Experience
- Experience of working in an industry related to the discipline being taught
Skills, knowledge & abilities
- Ability to teach at the appropriate level
- Ability to relate theory to practice
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent teaching skills and/or the ability to inspire, motivate and encourage student learning
- A commitment to live and promote the university core values
Business requirements
- Actual days/hours will be described in a 'Schedule of Work'.
- Willingness and flexibilty to travel between university and partner sites
