DevOps Engineer for Aviation Key Player / Cedar Rapids

Job Description Are you looking to make an impact on a highly stable team? We are partnered with a major key player in the Aviation industry that is currently building out a brand new team within their incubation labe that focuses on creating DevSecOps capabilities for their commercial aircraft technology. In this role, you will work cross functionally with software and operations teams to bring out a true DevOps presence into the environment and help with the automation of applications and tools. They work with a wide vaireity of modern DevOps tooling- such as Gitlab, Terraform, and Kubernetes. Candidates must be local to the Cedar Rapids area. Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of DevOps/SRE Experience
• Experience maintaing highly available and scalable platforms using modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Automation experience wit Ansible and/orTerraform
• Experience building out and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab or Jenkins
• Strong scripting experience with Bash or Python
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbally

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience with containerization or orchestration tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus
