Physicist - Acoustics and Fluidics Medical Devices

Description

A growing spin-out Medical Devices and Life Sciences company, based in Cambridgeshire, are currently looking for a Physicist to help with the continued development of their technology with Acoustics and Fluidics applications.

Working within a team of highly skilled engineers and physicist, you will be applying acoustic and fluidic physics principals to the development and testing of their new technology.

As this is a spin-out company, you get the feel of a smaller company where you have an impact on the work and culture while also having the job security of a larger organisation.

You will be working as a hands-on physicist or engineer, meaning this is the type of work that has practical applications and not being software based from a theoretical point of view. Due to this, we are looking for the types of physicist that build and break technologies to get the most out of them. People who are good in this type of role tend to have practical hobbies that require fault-finding and problem-solving. If you have any hobbies, please add them to your CV.

Ideally, you will have worked in the Medical Devices or Scientific Engineering fields previously. If this experience has been in industry this would be preferred, however if you have been working within a university that works on external project, this could also be considered.

It is expected that you would hold a degree in a Physics or Engineering subject. If you also hold a PhD, this would be advantageous.

Apart from working on experimental technologies, you will also be rewarded with an excellent starting salary and benefits package.

I expect a lot of interest in this role, so if you are looking for a new role please ally now or risk missing out.
